ting-tong chang

Ting-Tong’s practice combines street art and traditional elements of painting and sculpture. In Taiwan, he is most known as a street artist, Bbrother, with the crew he works with, they organized several street events. These projects create dissonance and disturbance in urban environment.

In Ting-Tong’s other projects, it’s aim is to explore the potential of creating dialogue between individuals and institutions. In these projects, the artist as a struggling individual is always ‘failed.’

Meanwhile, he created several inventions. These sculptues/installations are based on the DIY engineering spirit—they are made from the junks found on the street and transformed into automatic vandalizing machines.
